Our Games
Trivela FC currently has two games: Beat the Mascot (addition facts to 20) and Beat the Keeper (times tables). Both are browser-based and run on any device — no app download required.
In the first 15 minutes of play you'll be able to see what level your child is at. If they score 25/25 in both games they probably need to wait for the next release — but practice is always useful.
Beat the Mascot — Addition facts to 20
A 21st-century take on snakes and ladders: players need to reach tile 64 before the mascot does. Every correct answer moves them forward, every mistake gives the mascot a chance to catch up. Designed for Years 3–6 primary pupils who need to build instant recall of basic number facts.
Beat the Keeper — Times tables
A times-tables game where players go head-to-head with the keeper. Answers unlock shots on goal; misses hand possession back to the opposition. Covers the full UK National Curriculum expectation that pupils know all times tables up to 12 by the end of Year 4.
How Trivela teaches maths
If a child can't score 25/25 from the outset — which is the case for most — the games take them on a journey of 80-plus levels carefully curated by Helen Sheridan. The progression combines pictorial and abstract levels so pupils build deep conceptual understanding before moving towards automaticity at each stage. This mirrors the "Fast Maths" method Helen has refined over 30 years of classroom teaching.
